The Epoflake flooring system takes approximately 3 days to install.
Preparation involves more than any of the do-it-yourself processes. The
surface must be prepared so as to open up the pores of the concrete and
create a good, lasting bond. All existing cracks are repaired and
concealed so as to leave a seamless floor. The entire Epoflake system
involves 3 coats of epoxy with flakes, or vinyl paint chips broadcast into
the floor. The flakes provide the colour and decorative look, but the
epoxy provides the shine and chemical resistance.
